started venturing into the world of Internet Marketing in 2007 and for the past two years have studied the business, read a lot of reports from so-called "gurus", bought some products, lost money but learned how to make money too.
One thing that most newcomers to the field would learn belatedly (and much to their consternation) is that a lot of the materials out there that pose themselves as the next big thing is mostly fluff and hype. But there's still a nugget of gold to be picked from experiences with these type of products.
If you've bought one of these and later regretted it because the product did not live up to your expectations, on hindsight you would realize one very important lesson: "Good copy sells." The decision to buy was brought about by the very good delivery of words that prompted you to eventually take action.
Unfortunately, there is just so much information out there that one can easily get overwhelmed. One can easily be led to start something then in the middle of it get caught up in the frenzy of another offer. After a while, you realize that you've started so many things but ended up with nothing to show for them.
"Cracking Gold" seeks to break that cycle of frustration. In these pages you will find information presented in a friendly way without putting a pressure on you to part with your hard-earned money. I will also try to present the lessons I've learned through my experiences in a structured manner so that those of you who would like to start off on your own Internet Marketing business would have something akin to a blueprint that you can follow.
But the most important lesson that I would like to share with you are the things I learned about conversion. At the end of the day, conversion is what brings in the money. I can teach you about traffic generation but no matter how much traffic you bring to your pages, if people going to your site does not find your sales copy compelling, they will not linger and most importantly, you will not connect with them enough to make your sale.
I will also share with you valuable lessons I learned on the areas of permission marketing, list building, affiliate marketing, adsense and advertising, and traffic generation.
