In the first part of this series, I shared my insights on the first 3 myths
that Jim Daniels mentions as an introductory discussion to his free
report "The New Age Work
at Home Plan: Internet-Based
Financial
Independence in 10
Simple Steps.” If you have not yet downloaded this free report, I
suggest you do it now by clicking here . Remember to click on the "GOLD
KEY" to claim the Special Report without paying for it.
In this second part of a three-part series, I will share with you my insights on the next four myths discussed in the report.
Myth #4: I'm not an expert at anything.
As Jim Daniels puts it in his report , "You don't have to be." Or taken
from another perspective, "expertise" is usually viewed within a
limited scope of knowledge areas. The truth is, everyone is most likely
an "expert" in something,m especially an area that they are so
passionate about. The beautiful thing about the Internet is that given
the hundreds of millions of users and potential viewers out there, no
matter what our "expertise" is, there is most likely a waiting audience
interested in what we have to say, and eventually, even willing to be a
market for our ideas. At the same time, the Internet is a treasure
trove of information and you can research on the topic you are
interested in and continue to add on to your expert knowledge.
The other approach is to find other experts in the field that you
are interested in. Interview them, gather their thoughts on the subject
matter and compile your findings into a comprehensive and
information-rich report.
Myth #5: I have nothing to sell.
This one follows closely on the heel of the previous point. After you
have compiled your resource experts' knowledge into a comprehensive
report, you can package this as a product. You can very well sell this
product on the World Wide Web because if
there is anything that is truly saleable on the Internet, it is
information. Later on, you may even convert a series of reports into a
book or an e-book, which is an electronic version of a physical book.
Of course, you don't have to immediately sell your own products.
Selling on the Internet can start by selling other people's products.
Just choose a particular area of interest, or what we call a niche, and
start promoting other people's products and earn commissions when
people buy them. You sell these products as an affiliate and this
activity is what is generally known as affiliate marketing
Myth #6: Someone is already doing what I want to do so it is useless trying to compete.
On the contrary, the fact that somebody already has done it before
you may be a good gauge of its potential to make money. If others are
already doing it ahead of you and they seem to be thriving, chances are
it is a good indication that there is a huge market out there and there
is still room for more varied offerings. The key is to find out how you
can possibly add more value to what is already out ther and develop
your product to provide something extra.
Myth #7: The only people making money are people telling others how to make money.
Again as Jim Daniels mentions in his free report , "these businesses
comprise FAR less than 1% of ALL businesses online." The field is wide
open for other niches and you can always find your place in the overall
scheme of things. Don't think that being an online business guru is the
only way and continue to research and find out how you can make your
particular area of interest a feasible and viable online business
product.
In my last part of this artilce, I will share with you my insights on the last 3 myths.
